Common questions
Where is my data stored?
Your library lives in your own Supabase project. You supply the credentials — PrintVault never has direct access to your data. You own it completely, even if you cancel.
Can I use PrintVault without live printer monitoring?
Absolutely. The library, filament catalog, file storage, and profit calculator all work independently. Printer monitoring is an optional Pro feature — add it whenever you're ready.
Which printers does live monitoring support?
PrintVault supports OctoPrint, Klipper/Moonraker (Voron, RatRig, Fluidd, Mainsail), and Creality K1 / K1 Max / K2 via their local WebSocket API. More brands are on the roadmap.
What happens when I hit the Free tier limit?
You can still view, edit, and delete existing prints, but won't be able to add new ones until you upgrade or remove entries. Your files are never deleted for hitting a limit.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription at any time?
Yes — cancel anytime, no lock-in or fees. Pro features stay active until the end of your billing period, then your account downgrades to Free with all data intact.
